How it works

  1. Take a photo of the back of any skincare product.
  2. Our OCR reads the INCI list — usually 5–15 seconds.
  3. Every ingredient is matched against Mads's evidence-led database (with real PubMed citations).
  4. You see the verdict for each matched ingredient, a flag for potent actives, and a list of anything we don't have a page on yet.

Privacy: your photo is sent to the OCR provider for the read, and then discarded. We don't store labels or images.
