Authorship & expertise

Every page is authored by Mads Timmermann, a Danish skincare specialist and the founder of Danish Skin Care, with 20+ years working with problem skin. Where a page is reviewed rather than authored by Mads, the reviewer's name and date are surfaced below the title.

Sourcing & citations

Claims about efficacy or safety are cited to peer-reviewed studies (PubMed/DOI) or to authoritative regulatory bodies. Where the evidence is mixed or limited, we say so.

Freshness

Every page carries published and last-updated dates. We re-verify citations and update recommendations on a rolling schedule — at minimum once every 12 months for evergreen pages, and immediately when new evidence emerges.

Commercial relationships

Mads Timmermann is a content property published by Mads Timmermann. Product recommendations link to Danish Skin Care — the brand Mads founded — when its products are the right fit. We disclose this on every page that contains a product recommendation. We do not accept paid placements.
